The home page is where you can control every aspect of your property advert and gain access to the Booking Secretary.
From this page you can:
• Edit your property advert
• Edit/add/remove your property images
• Edit/view your availability calendar and prices
• Promote your property in our special offer sections
• View your property statistics
• View/edit you contact details
• View your invoices
• Top up your SMS account / SMS Number
• Setup a 0845 local call rate telephone number
• Other Edit your property advert.
We have a unique “What you see is what you get” (WYSIWYG) property editor. When you edit your property you will see your property advert as it is displayed on the website, with the exception of “Edit” buttons next to each section. To edit any section, just click the edit button next to the section, make the edits you require and select the save button. You will immediately see changes as they appear on the website.
Edit/add/delete images
We have an easy to use image manager where you simply drag and drop the images into the order you want. To remove an image select the delete button underneath the image you wish to remove. To add an image select the browse button, and browse to the image you require, ensuring the image is a JPEG format, select the section you wish for the image to appear in and press the save button.
Edit/view your availability calendar and prices
The process for adding/editing prices and setting calendar availability is identical. Simply select the start date and end date of the change you wish to make an edit and then either select the availability change or enter the price change for that period. Please note that if you using the Booking Secretary, when you create a booking it will automatically set the availability for those dates to “booked” on the availability calendar.
Promote your property in our special offer sections
We have two special offer sections that have a direct link on the home page of the website – “Early Bird” and “Last Minute” offers. The pages are displayed in a gallery type view and receive a huge amount of attraction from holidaymakers. The price to appear on either of these sections is L5 for 2 weeks, L8 for 3 weeks and L10 for 4 weeks. We can only accept payment for these by credit card using our secure online payment system.
View your property statistics
We provide some basic statistics so that you can monitor your advert. These include the number of times you advert has been displayed in search results, the number of viewings of your property and the number of enquiries you have received. This is a very handy tool to analyse changes you make to your advert such as the impact a new main image or change to the short description can have
View/edit your contact details
E-mail Address: You can edit your contact e-mail address at any point. It is crucial to keep your main e-mail address updated as this is where all enquiries will be sent. To avoid getting any communication placed into your “Spam” box, please ensure you add the e-mail address support@worldrentalshop.com into you address book.
SMS: Please click the button “Receive alerts by SMS text” if you wish to receive text message (SMS) alerts. You will receive 50 free text messages courteous of us when you join worldrentalshop.com and further text messages can be easily added. The messages can be sent to any mobile in the world. Your balance is displayed below the SMS number you have elected.
SMS Number: Important the number must be entered starting with the country code (nothing must precede this) followed by your mobile number but excluding the first “0” So for a UK mobile it must start 44 then dropping the 0 at the start of the mobile number. eg: 447795574488 (do not use any symbols such as “+“ or brackets). Please take time to ensure this is entered correctly.
Top up your SMS balance: You can top up your SMS balance at any time. Do not worry as we will alert you when it is running low. To top up your balance select the “Purchase Credit” button, select the number of SMS’s you require and follow the instructions to make payment by our secure online payment system. 0845: If you wish to display a contact number on your advert, we always advise we obtain a 0845 number. This is free and provides you with added security as the number can be removed at any point. It has the added bonus of anyone calling the number only being charged local BT call rates.
To request a 0845 number select the button “Activate 0845 number” and type in the UK landline number you wish it to be re-directed to. Please note it will take 2-3 working days before the number is activated.
View/edit your personal details
You can edit your contact details at any point.
View Invoices
All invoices will be placed here. If you pay by credit card, the invoice will be automatically added as soon as the payment has been cleared. If you pay yearly by cheque we will notify you when the invoice has been added. If you pay monthly, the invoice will be added on each anniversary. Invoices are important as costs in renting out a property can usually be offset as a cost for tax purposes.
