Guide to registering and adding a property:

Adding a property

Select Add Property

Step 1

Property type: Select the type of property that is the closest match to your property
Continent: Select the continent
Country: Select the country, options displayed are related to previous option selected.
County: Select the County, options displayed are related to previous option selected. Note if your County is not displayed please select the link "Your area not here? Click here" and complete the form to request a new County to be added. This is a manual process and takes 1 working business day (you can continue to add the rest of your property details whilst you wait for this to be added). We reserve the right to deny an application if we feel a better alternative exists.
Suburb: Select the Suburb, options displayed are related to previous option selected. If your Suburb is not displayed please select the link "Your suburb/town not here? Click here" to add an additional Suburb. This is an automated process, however your selection will be reviewed and we reserve the right to change this if we feel a better option exists.
Property size (optional): Please enter the property size in total square meters. Enter the size as a whole number eg. 125. Do not enter any punctuation marks (e.g commas or full stops), currency symbols or alphabet letters (A,B,C, etc).
Latitude and Longitude: To set the location of you property, select the link "set the Latitude / Longitude". This will open up a separate window with a map of the area your property is in. To set a more accurate location of your property just simply click and drag the house icon (marker) to where your property is located and then click the save button. You can zoom further into the map using the slider on the left hand side and pan around the map with the mouse. If at anytime you lose the marker, click the button "Reset Map" to centre the marker in your view.
WARNING: With some of the more detailed satellite maps it is possible to pinpoint your property, combined with the availability calendar this could pose a potential security risk. If you are at all concerned then we advise you to select the nearest town centre to your property or a small distance from it.

Accommodation:

Bedrooms: Enter the total number of bedrooms the property has.
Sleeps: Enter the maximum number of adults that can stay in the property with a bed place each.
Double Bed: Enter the number of double bedrooms the property has.
Twin Bed: Enter the number of twin bedrooms the property has.
Single Bed: Enter the number of single bedrooms the property has.
Sofa Bed: Enter the number of sofa beds the property has.
Bathrooms: Enter the number of bathrooms the property has.
Seating for: Enter the number of place settings the property can accommodate.
Car Required: Select from the options Yes, no or advised for the car requirement
Pool: Select option "Private" if the property has a private pool. If the property has a communal pool select option "communal" and option "No" if it has no pool.
Balcony: Select option "Private" if the property has a private balcony. If the property has a communal balcony select option "communal" and option "No" if it has no balcony.
Garden: Select option "Private" if the property has a private garden. If the property has a communal garden select option "communal" and option "No" if it has no garden.
Changeover Day: select the preferred changeover day of bookings. If you have no preference to changeover day then select the option "Any"

Features:

Tick any features which are applicable to your property. Please note the following:
Children: if the property is suitable for children aged 3 to 13
Infants: if property is suitable for infants AND equipment is available for
infants (highchair & cot)
Wheelchair users: if your property has wheelchair access that you are very certain will meet the requirements as set down by National Assurance Quality Standards to gain National Accessible Scheme level 3 mobility access. Please see the separate help file for further details

Select the "Update" button to save and continue

Step 2

Brief Description: This is the description that is displayed in the search results and is a brief overall description. This is an essential item of your advert and getting people to look at your page. Keep it concise and highlight the best features about your property. The options location, number of people the property sleeps and number of bedrooms are displayed in the search results, so it is not necessary to add them into the brief description. The maximum number of characters is 250. Do not use html tags or type the text in capital letters. We reserve the right to modify any text that has html tags of all capital letters.
Detail Description: This is the detailed description of your property. All the options chosen in step 1 are displayed automatically so it is not necessary to repeat them, although it may prove valuable to expand on some items. Please note that in the optional step 3 you can add information about the area separately. There is no limit to the number of characters used. Do not use html tags. We reserve the right to modify any text that has html tags.

Step 3

Note all items are optional in step 3. It is advisable to add as much information as possible as it will benefit your advert and include your property in extra sections, but you can skip this section and add the information at a later date. To ship, just select the "Skip" button to continue.

Guide to area: In this section you can write information about the town in which your property is located. Include local highlights, monuments and activities. Please note that the information you write here will be included in the "Location Information" on the website, including a link to your property. Therefore, by writing a good general guide that is read by holiday makers it will promote your property for free!
Beach: If you are in a coastal resort please enter the distance to the nearest beach in kilometres
Airport: Enter the name of your nearest airport and the distance to the airport in kilometres
Ski Slopes: If you are close to or in a ski region please enter the distance to the nearest ski slopes in kilometres
Golf Course: If your property is on or close to a golf course please enter the distance in kilometres
Transfers: With the ability to book accommodation and flights easily on the internet, the main concern remaining for holiday makers arranging their own holidays is the transfer. One landing in a strange country it can raise many concerns such as which currency to use, how much it costs, will the taxi driver know where the property is etc. We therefore know that property owners who provide transfers are more likely to get enquiries for their property. Options available are

1) We can advise to make transfer arrangements
2) We can book transfers on your behalf"
3) Transfers are included in the rental price
If you have selected option 2, enter an approximate cost for each direction (not both ways) in GBP

Step 4


Adding an image


You can have up to 25 images displayed with your advert. The first image in the "Display" section is the main image used in search results. For further information on image types that are accepted and problems with uploading images please see help link at the top of the page

Select the browse button to browse to the image you require (one image at a time), and then select in which section you wish the image to appear. Options are:
Display: maximum of 15 images of which 10 will appear in the main display. The first image will be the main image displayed
Area: maximum of 6 images
Plans: maximum of 4 images

After you have selected the section, select the upload button and the image will be uploaded to the site. This may take some time depending on the size of the image and your internet connection speed. Repeat this process for all your images. Reordering images

To re-order images simple drag the image you wish to change to its new position and then select "Save Order" button

Removing an image

To remove an image click the "Delete Image" button below the image

Select the" Calendar & Prices" button to save and continue to the set availability and rental prices.

Step 5

Pricing and Availability

This section is to set up the pricing and availability of your property. To set the prices, select the start date and the end date for which you wish to set the prices. Now select the option "prices" and enter the price in GBP you wish. Now select the button "Update" Once you have set all your prices, please proceed to set any dates unavailable. The process is identical except you choose the option "Unavailable" rather than "price".

Property Activation

Once you have completed all the steps to adding your property you will need to activate the property. To activate the property select the link "Activate property" on the "Admin Home" page. You then have the option on how you wish to pay for the property.

If you are UK resident you will need to pay VAT on the advert If you are a non-UK EU citizen you will need to pay VAT on the advert unless you are marketing your property through a business. If you declare you are a non-uk business you will need to enter your VAT number. Non-EU citizens do not need to pay VAT. You must tick the box saying you are a non EU citizen and not liable to pay EU taxes.

Methods of payment are standing order (UK bank account holders only), Bank Cheque (UK bank account holders only) and credit card payment. The best method for payment is standing order as this will spread the payments over 12 months and there is no additional charge.
