Description
This is a newly built spacious well appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom fully air-conditioned ground floor apartment with views to the mountains. Set on a small development of 15 homes in a quiet area of holiday homes, but within walking distance of the sandy beach, old town and all amenities. The apartment sleeps 6 and all linen and towels are supplied.

The living area has a three seater sofa bed, a two seater sofa and an armchair. There is a dining table and 6 chairs. This area benefits from dual aspect windows and doors. There are 2 large patio doors leading out to a large balcony with a large table and chairs. The balcony has a gate directly to the pool and gardens.

The kitchen area is fully equipped with a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, full oven/grill, hob, extractor, toaster, kettle, food mixer, iron, ironing board, clothes dryer, cutlery, crockery and all kitchen utensils.

There are 2 bedrooms, the dual aspect master bedroom has a large patio door leading to a balcony with table and chairs and another door leading to the ensuite bathroom.

The apartment has a safe deposit box and all windows have shutters and there is a night security guard included in our site maintenance even though there is virtually no crime

The outdoor space has landscaped gardens with a large communal pool and baby pool with a poolside shower and WC. There is a large stone BBQ for communal use. 4 sun loungers and mattresses are provided and there is on site car parking.

The sandy beach AND SEA is a 20 min. stroll and the old town is a 30 min. stroll. Nearby is the Saturday market, a cab rank, roads with dolmus buses and free beach buses. The airport is approximately 45 mins. away and transfers, car hire and excursions can be arranged at very reasonable costs.

All within 20 minutes walk from the apartment you will find the beaches with numerous watersports and miles of golden sand, shopping areas, restaurants and food shops. The local small supermarket is only 200m away.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will also find horse riding and golf. Many tours are available to Aqua parks, stunning mountain gorges and waterfalls in Alanya and Manavgat , Jeep safaris and many more typical holiday entertainments.

A short ride on the DOLMUS (very cheap local taxi service) or a 30min. stroll takes you to the town of Side, with Roman ruins, amphitheatre , restaurants and markets. after a long days sunbathing you can shop, eat visit the Temple of Apollo for a sunset concert or just stroll and soak up the friendly Turkish atmosphere.

DETAILS ABOUT MEDITERRANEAN COAST OF TURKEY

Far away from the noisy, alcohol-fuelled resorts on the west coast of Turkey, you can find relativelly unspoilt areas along the Mediterranean coast. Beginning from the south of splendid Taurus Mountains this coast offers the tourist beautiful scenery, sandy beaches, secluded coves, tranquil historical sites and attractive holiday facilities.

Situated on a peninsula and flanked by two stretches of golden beach, the pretty resort town of Side (50 minutes drive from Antalya airport) is a jumble of old and new, with an extensive range of tourist accommodation, shops, late-night bars and restaurants mixed in among the ruins of the ancient city. In the centre of town is the magnificent 2nd-century theatre with beautiful views towards the sea, and the remains of the Roman Baths houses an impressive collection of artifacts. Busy streets that lead down to the sea are lined with souvenir shops selling typical Turkish handicrafts like carpets, jewellery and leather goods.

Skiing in Saklikent

Within the province of Antalya is a ski centre at Saklikent, in the Beydag mountain range, at 1850m. Because of its close proximity to Antalya, it is one of the few places in the world that people can ski in the mornings, then swim in the sea in the afternoon.

There are two ski lifts, restaurants, and accommodation available. The skiing season runs between January and April.
The resort can be reached from the centre of Antalya by bus, taxi or a hotel service vehicle in one hour.

The golf season in Antalya begins in October when most golf regions are winding down for the off season. Antalya is one of the few places where golf can be played right through the winter, in short sleeves.

In fact the club requires a compulsory handicap of 28 for men and 36 for women to be able to play the course, which also offers a 5 star resort.

National Golf Club

Designed by European Ryder cup player David Feherty, and completed in 1994, National Golf Club is probably Turkey's most famous. Each hole is unique and derived from David's experience on the PGA tour and has won recent international acclaim. It was ranked 39th for European mainland golf courses in 2001 by the UK's Golf World Magazine and has hosted several international tournaments. . The landscape is similar to that of Gloria Golf Club, with snowcapped views of the Taurus Mountains and pine and eucalyptus forests. There is also an extensive golf academy.
